Who is the creator of this website? Should I trust the information given?
My name's Emily Mason, I'm from OH, USA. You may know me from my YouTube channel, GerbNerdLolz. I also created #Gerbils (coming soon), an informative website about the rodent I've had since 2007. I was just 9 years old when I got my first gerbil. From experience, asking questions, & deep research, I've learned a lot. I was 13 when I got my first hamster. I was very excited to own the most popular pocket pet on the planet. I informed myself on as much as I could, but I'm not as familiar with hamsters like I am with gerbils. I know enough to help others with the basics. This does not mean I love hamsters any less than gerbils. I created this website because I care that hamsters everywhere are being looked after properly. I want to help owners & make them feel confident that they are taking the right actions for their hamsters. There are a lot of outdated & incorrect statistics & peices of information on the internet, in pet care books, & advice pet store workers give out. I would not post information that I am unsure of.
